Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary is a 1412 sq km hilly tract of dry deciduous forests, acacia scrub, evergreen and semi-evergreen flora and grasslands, fed by rivers and streams. Among the many water-bodies in the reserve is the Kamleshwar Dam, known for its large crocodile population.
Originally protected by the Nawab of Junagadh, after British viceroys brought to his attention the plight of the lion in Asia, the sanctuary is the jewel of Gujarat's ecological resources.

According to official census figures, Gir has about 300 lions and 300 leopards, making it one of the major big-cat concentrations in India. Sambar and spotted deer (chital), blue bull (nilgai), chousingha (the world's only four-horned antelope), chinkara (Indian gazelle) and wild boar thrive in Gir. Jackal, striped hyena, jungle cat, rusty-spotted cat, langur, porcupine, black-naped Indian hare are among the other mammals of Gir.
Gir has a large population of marsh crocodile or mugger, which is among the 40 species of reptiles and amphibians recorded in the sanctuary. The park checklist has 250 birds and about 50 other species (including the endangered lesser florican and the saras crane) are recorded in the grasslands along the periphery of the sanctuary.

Early morning checkout from the resort & drive to Velavadar. The Velavadar National Park is a hidden gem, one of the last stands of grassland remaining in the massive alluvial plain running along the Gulf of Khambatt called Bhal. The Bhal is a tapestry of cotton, wheat and other agricultural fields, saline flats, grasslands, pastures, freshwater wetlands and coastal marshes. Nearly forty species of grasses have been identified from Bhal. The dominant grass species are Dicanthium annulatum, Sporobolus virginicus, S. coromandelianus and S. maderspatensis.
The national park is a beautiful 35 sq km tract of largely treeless Savannah grasslands and bushes that makes a stunning and enchanting sight. It is wonderful to watch the grasslands changing colour at different times of the day, and also in different seasons of the year, from bright gleaming greens to golden browns, The grasses swaying in gentle breezes. The beauty of the grassland is enhanced by its abundance of wildlife from butterflies and dragonflies to India’s largest antelope, the nilgai.

After breakfast, proceed on your driver towards Ahmedabad, the largest city in the state of Gujarat, India.
Upon arrival Ahmedabad, you will be transferred to hotel and later afternoon proceed for city tour of Ahmedabad including visit of Gandhi Ashram, Swami Narayan Temple etc.
This morning you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Raipur. Upon arrival at Raipur airport, drive to Kanha National Park.
Kanha national park was the backdrop of Rudyard Kipling’s ‘Jungle Book’. Spread over 1,945 sq. km of dense Sal forests, the national park is interspersed with extensive meadows and treesClumps of wild bamboo. Kanha is best known as the natural habitat of the Tiger in India.
Rest of the day free for relaxation.

Morning & Afternoon Jeep Safari
Morning jungle safari to the national park, later after breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh National park. On arrival check in at the wildlife resort.
Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is mainly known for its Royal Bangal Tigers. It has a typical central Indian fauna & home of more than 22 species of mammals. Common langur and rhesus macaque represent the primate group. Among the carnivore species jackal, Bengal fox, sloth bear, rattle, grey (small Indian) and ruddy mongoose, striped hyena, wolf, wild dog, jungle cat, leopard and tiger are prominent. Ungulates (animals which walk on tips of their toes) include chital, sambar, barking deer, chinkara, chousingha, nilgai and wild pig. Porcupine, lesser bandicoot and three-striped palm squirrel are among the rodents. Small Indian civet and toddy cat are also found here though seen rarely being nocturnal. Another nocturnal animal, the rufous-tailed hare is also seen usually during dusk. Some of its mammals have been listed as threatened animals by IUCN in their red list like the wild dog, Bengal fox, sloth bear, leopard and tiger.

Spread at vindhya hills in Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh National Park consists of a core area of 105 sq km and a buffer area of approximately 400 sq km of topography varies between steep ridges, undulating, forest and open meadows. Bandhavgarh National Park is known for the Royal Bengal Tigers. The density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India. It was the former hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa and at present is a famous natural hub for White Tigers.
Bandhavgarh was declared a national park in 1968. Since then many steps have been taken to retain Bandhavgarh National Park as an un-spoilt national habitat for a variety of wildlife peculiar to the area. These includes gaur (Indian bison), sloth bear, leopard, porcupine, wild boar, sambar and spotted deer, among others and of course, the tiger.
We will still enjoy hunting wildlife with big camera's on the consequent day. For the same we will enter twice here on third day for its morning & afternoon season.
After the morning jeep safari into National Park, have breakfast and checkout of hotel. Drive to Khajuraho.

This morning visit the enchanting temples of Khajuraho with sculptures that draw their inspiration from the ancient art of Kama sutra. Khajuraho Temples were built by the Chandela kings between 950 AD and 1050 AD and rest of the day free for personal activity.
This morning, embark on your drive to Orchha, a medieval riverside town known for its palaces and temples. Apart from the famous landmarks like and Laxmi Narayan Temple.
The town is peppered with fascinating little shrines and memorials, Later continue your drive for Jhansi and board Shtabdi Train from Jhansi Railway Station for Agra.

This morning witness the surreal views of the Taj Mahal. Step inside this eternal symbol of love and appreciate the intricate designs and symmetries that rhyme as a poem written in marble. Taj Mahal is an extravagant display of love, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. You may choose to wake up early to witness the glistening white marble beauty at sunrise.
Later visit the splendid Agra Fort built in red sandstone, encapsulating magnificent palaces, halls of public, private audience & beautiful gardens.
Also visit Baby Taj Tomb “a jewel box in marble”. This mausoleum was built by the Empress Nur Jahan as a gesture of love for her father. The tomb is built of the finest Indian marble embellished with mosaics and beautiful inlay of work of semi previous stones. The central chamber contains the yellow marble tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah and his wife. The tomb is painted with floral decorations and fine marble screens of geometric latticework suffuce the interior in a soft light.
This morning post breakfast proceed on your driver for Delhi and later in afternoon enjoy the day discovering New Delhi enjoy a short guided walk in Rajpath area and see President's House, Parliament House and other Government Secretariat Buildings Secretariat Buildings - the most imposing features of Lutyen’s Delhi, take a photo stop at the iconic war memorial arch - the India Gate.
Then visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the largest Sikh temple of Delhi, with a gold dome, still in active worship and visit Humayun's Tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The Tomb was commissioned by Humayun's first wife.
Enjoy the day exploring Old Delhi visit the majestic Red Fort spread over an area of 2 km, visit India’s largest mosque – Jama Masjid, travel through the bustling market and take a cycle rickshaw ride through narrow alleys and lanes in Chandni Chowk. Apart from all this you will also get opportunity to enjoy a walking tour with your guide through the largest spice market in Asia called Khari Baoli along with some local area.
Also visit Raj Ghat it is a black marble platform that marks the spot of Mahatma Gandhi's cremation, Antyeshti (Antim Sanskar) on 30 January 1948, a day after his assassination.
Later in time visit The Laxminarayan Temple, also known as the Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple up to large extent dedicated to Laxminarayan in Delhi, India. Laxminarayan usually refers to Vishnu.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to catch your flight back home or else flight for onward destination.
